Painters (ropes), 15 feet, at bow and stern
Bailer (cut bottom off 2-litre bleach bottle)
PFD (personal flotation device) for each person
Whistle - attached to PFD
Throw bag or 15 m. buoyant rope

Ropes for tying boats on cars and gear in the canoe
